This ultrasound module provides a practical, systems-based approach to one of
the most versatile imaging modalities in clinical practice.
Designed for both novice and experienced learners, the program emphasizes practical, clinically relevant updates to support diagnostic confidence and patient care.
Participants will refine their ability to optimize ultrasound protocols, improve scan interpretation across multiple organ systems, and recognize both common and subtle diagnostic findings. The session also addresses limitations of ultrasound and strategies for integrating findings with other imaging modalities.
This module strengthens both technical proficiency and diagnostic confidence in everyday practice.

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:
- Apply evidence-based ultrasound techniques and interpretation strategies to the evaluation of abdominal, pelvic, vascular, and soft tissue pathology.
- Recognize key sonographic findings associated with liver disease, gynecologic pathology, vascular abnormalities, and other high-yield diagnostic conditions commonly encountered in ultrasound practice.
- Incorporate structured reporting systems, including O-RADS and other practical diagnostic frameworks, to improve consistency and clinical management recommendations.
- Differentiate common and subtle ultrasound findings that may contribute to diagnostic pitfalls or delayed diagnosis.
- Improve diagnostic confidence and clinically relevant reporting in complex ultrasound cases encountered in daily diagnostic radiology practice.
